At the end of Summer Jason and some friends from church went over to help a friend of ours from church with her yard. The back was very overgrown with blackberries and other unpleasant things. In the process they were stung by bee's that were nested in the ground. As a thank you she invited our families over to a bonfire, in which she would be burning the last of the piles that the men had created. She provided pizza, salad and cookies and lots of fun! It was a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon! Sadly, Jason had to work and couldn't be there.

Bennett was surprisingly easy to watch. He was not even interested in getting too close to the fire.
Harrison said his face was going to burn if he got any closer, so he stood back and threw little sticks in. I was totally fine with his plan!
Harrison, or as his shirt says, Mom's little Monster. He loved eating Pizza outside by the BIG fire!
Bennett had fun with the little doggies. There were two, and they liked him too.
It started to get kinda chilly outside, even with the fire. So Lily came inside and cuddled up with a dog. She is pretty smart.
This was a perfect activity for Halloween weekend!

that picture of you and benny is the most adorable thing i've EVER seen. i love your family . did i tell you that garrett is thinking about getting his associates and transferring to wou. which would me we'd be there by next summer.
